Cowboy's Stadium, Arlington, Texas...Home of Super Bowl XLV...

...so the Dallas Cowboy's 2 most hated Nemesis's are the one's coming to
Arlington for North Texas' very first Super Bowl.

This actually plays into my hands.

Since I don't really care who wins the game,
I can just sit back and enjoy it for the pure pleasure of watching football,
without all the stress involved in hoping "my team" wins.

Sea birds invade Dallas!!

..ok, not really. Most people don't realize that a lot of sea birds are found almost anywhere that water can
be found. That's why they are technically not "Sea"Gulls, just Gulls.
I shot this bird coming in for a landing at Bachman Lake on the north side of Love Field airport.
We even have Pelicans here in North Texas, but as of yet, they have been elusive to my lens...stay tuned...

of the Cotton Bowl, when I looked up and saw this
fantastic sunset radiating out over the Esplanade...

Pic of the day...Feelin' crabby?

It is the dead of winter and a young man's thoughts turn to...the Caribbean of course!
Here's a shot of a King Crab from 2009 taken on Yucab Wall dive site, Cozumel, Mexico...

Texas Museum of Automotive History

Just before Christmas, I was down at Fair Park, (what a shock), making some shots with the new lens.

I noticed that the Grand Place building had been tuned into an automobile museum,
the "Texas Museum of Automotive History" to be precise.

I was shooting some exterior shots, when the General Manager, Wilbert Grinsven, came out and introduced himself and invited me in to shoot some interior pics of the museum.

Lots of super cool rides from very early cars to modern day race cars, a very nice collection. Many of which had been sitting in private owner's garages and are now on display for the public.

Here's a small sample of the shoot...

Thanks again to Wilbert for letting me come in and have a go at it...
